Anthotiro Cheese

Whey cheeses are produced from the whey resulting from the main production process of FETA, white and yellow cheeses. For the MANOURI P.D.O. there is an enrichment in whey with pasteurized cream from goat/sheep milk, whereas for the ANTHOTYRO, enrichment is with goat/sheep pasteurized milk. They are both consumed as appetizers, side dishes and in sandwiches.
MIZITHRA and GHIZA are diet products, low in fat and mainly used in pies.
